Reclaimed Dinning Table - Portland Outdoor 2" Solid Wood - Industrial Black Square Legs

Solid Reclaimed Pine Railway Sleepers are cut to 2” thick boards. The boards are inspected to ensure the best quality, cut to length, sanded and lightly stained. All outside furniture receives 2 coats of a highly protective clear wood stain which is both weather-resistant and UV resistant, ensuring up to 5 years protection, while enhancing the natural wood grain. Creating a beautiful, rustic, individual  Reclaimed Portland Outdoor 2” Solid wood Dining Table and Bench.  Handmade Black Square Frame Steel Legs pictured. Bench will be supplies the same length as the table but if the bench needs to fit underneath the table, the bench will need to be at least 40cm smaller than the length of the table. (Please request in the order notes)

Material: At our workshop in Dorset, we start the process with the finest new and reclaimed timber, finishing with unrivalled beautifully crafted furniture. We therefore only use quality materials, combined with our tried and tested furniture making techniques and experience, resulting is unrivalled and beautiful pieces of furniture. All our furniture is lovingly handmade and crafted from 2" or 4" thick reclaimed timber and wherever possible using materials that have been reclaimed or can be recycled. We source 99% of all our materials from UK companies and focus on recycling in all aspects of production and delivery thus supporting the UK economy and the environment.

Reclaimed timber will always have ‘age related marks. We check all items and timber to make sure they meet our highest standards, when buying reclaimed products- please do not expect it to be smooth and a brand-new piece of wood! It is all part of the character of being reclaimed! Stains and shades will vary slightly along with the grain of the timber depending on conditions and where the timber is sourced from at the time. All measurements will vary by up to 2cm. All joined  biscuit jointed in 2/3 places, and added support bars are glued and screwed on the underside. Slight gaps may be visible in between the timbers joins, this is all  part of the character and charm of using reclaimed, ‘not perfectly straight’ timber! Finally, we cannot take responsibility for any major movement of our products if you have it directly next to radiators or in direct sunlight. This is a natural solid wood product- it needs to be looked after and kept at a general room temperature. Any huge amounts of heat, it will cause the timber to shrink, so please be aware!

Sustainability: We, at Jurassic Joinery, have always been concerned by sustainability and the environmental impact of our activities, as well as our social responsibility to the wider community, we design and make furniture, so as to reduce its overall environmental impact throughout its life cycle. We continually assess the environmental impact of our operations and through minimizing the use of materials and resources; we will reduce our wastage to the lowest practical level. We use both reclaimed and new wood in our making process. 99% of all products used from the making to packaging are recycled or recyclable.

Assembly: Some of our products such as our table and hallway tables will require you to attach the legs upon delivery, this is a necessary step to enable us to send your items without damage and at a reasonable cost. To make this as easy as possible we provide everything you need . All you have to do is screw the bolts into the fixings! 

Delivery: We have chosen TNT as our standard courier, sometimes it may be necessary to use other couriers. We would like to provide you with the best tracking information system and we have found them to be the most reliable in terms of delivery within the service times.

We book our parcels mainly on 1 to 3 day service, when your product has been dispatched you will receive an e-mail containing tracking information and a link to track your package. If you have any issues after dispatch please contact TNT in the first instance with your tracking number. If you would like to arrange delivery for a certain date or would like to give any special instructions please put this in the order note. If you have a particular date that you know you are not going to be able to accept delivery before dispatch, please let us know by adding a note to your order or sending us a message, cost of failed deliveries will need to be covered by the customer.

Damages: Please send us a message if your product arrives damaged, as much as we try and package our products to avoid damages, unfortunately this does sometimes happen. We will do our best to resolve this for you as quickly as we possibly can, your order will be repaired or replaced as a matter of urgency. We will only replace damaged items like for like to avoid refund fraud. We will arrange collection of damaged goods, we request that you package the item as it was delivered where possible.
